Believers listened to the topic of kindness and mercy for animals in all mosques in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 January, in all mosques of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during Friday namaz, believers listened to the topic of kindness and mercy for animals.

The cooperation of the NGO Mehr va Oqibat with the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan is aimed at educating people and nurturing in the youth such qualities as love for the motherland, humanism, kindness and mercy to all living things on earth.

 “This is the very first Friday prayer in the New Year, and we are very glad that it touched on a very important, necessary and highly relevant topic. The text was specially prepared by representatives of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, sent to all mosques of our country in advance, and today we have witnessed the fact that the Imams were told out loud in different parts of our homeland. We took part in this and together with the believers listened about the humane treatment of animals,” Timur Aripov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the NGO Mehr va Oqibat, said. Thus, we want to make a worthy contribution to building a strong civil and humane society. ”
