BelAZ supplies dump-body trucks to NGMK for 27.5m euros

Belarus Automobile Plant (BelAZ) completed supply of 13 dump-body trucks BelAZ-75307 to Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine, RIA Novosti reported quoting source in the Uzbek company.
Dump-body trucks with capacity of 220 tonnes were supplied within contract for 27.5 million euros, signed in 2013. The vehicles will be used at Muruntau (Central Kyzylkum), which is main gold ore base of the enterprise. Khalq Bank issued loan to finance the contract.
NGMK launched a repair shop for dump-body trucks at the base of Navoi Machinery Plant in 2010. Within the project, it launched production of 32 spare parts and components for BelAZ, including repair of diesel engines.
Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine and Uzbekugol also use BelAZ trucks in Uzbekistan. Currently, there are about 700 BelAZ trucks of various modification.
NGMK is a main producer of gold and monopoly producer of uranium in Uzbekistan. NGMK produced about 60 tonnes of gold in recent years, out of 90 tonnes produced in Uzbekistan.
