Belarus, Uzbekistan to set up joint venture to produce medicines, antiseptics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An agreement to set up a joint venture to produce medicines and antiseptics in Uzbekistan was reached as a delegation of Belarusian pharma chiefs was on a visit to Tashkent, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The delegation met with Uzbekistan’s minister of health and the head of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

Apart from that, Belarusian producers of medicines and medical products took part in the healthcare exhibition events in Tashkent.

These events included 24th Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition – TIHE 2019, the 15th International Dental Exhibition - Stomatology Uzbekistan 2019 and the 14th International Exhibition of Pharmaceutical Industry– AptekaExpo Central Asia / TechPharm 2019.
