Belarus and Uzbekistan Strengthen Cooperation in Combating Crime
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Dmitry Gora, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, held a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, led by Ramazon Ashropov, Head of the Investigative Department, aimed at enhancing international cooperation and exchanging experience in criminal investigations.
During the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of issues, including countering cybercrime, as well as the implementation of modern methods and approaches to investigating criminal cases that have been successfully applied in both countries.
Dmitry Gora emphasized that joint work and the exchange of experience enable a more effective response to contemporary challenges.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, providing for active information exchange, mutual assistance in criminal investigations, the conduct of joint operational activities, and methodological support.
The press service of the Investigative Committee noted that the document formalizes the readiness of both countries for practical collaboration in the field of criminal justice.
