Bektemir Melikuziev becomes flagbearer of Uzbekistan at Summer Youth Olympic Games

Defending amateur champion on boxing among juniors Bektemir Melikuziev will be flagbearer of Uzbekistan national team at the solemn opening ceremony of the Second Summer Youth Olympic Games, a press service of National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The Second Summer Youth Olympic Games will take place in Nanjing (China) on 16-28 August 2014.
Uzbek boxer Bektemir Melikuziev won in international tournaments in Azerbaijan, Serbia, Russia and Thailand.
This year, he won the Asian Championship in Bongkok, Thailand, and clinched a gold medal of the World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria. He also won in Barkamol Avlod-2014 competition in Namangan region.
