The government of Uzbekistan issued a corresponding resolution on 30 July 2020.

The Minister of Health Alisher Shadmanov is inpatient treatment at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the state of the head of the Ministry of Health is assessed as satisfactory.

The representative of the headquarters for the fight against coronavirus, Professor Khabibulla Akilov said that the minister was hospitalized for planned treatment. "There is no talk about the coronavirus," he added.
