Bashkortostan and Tashkent Region Discuss Joint Industrial and Agricultural Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 December, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, held a working meeting via videoconference with the Hokim of Tashkent Region, Zoir Mirzaev, focused on the implementation of joint projects.

During the meeting, the Head of the Republic emphasized the importance of developing clear roadmaps for key initiatives and monitoring their timelines.

One of the priority topics was the implementation of the Bekabad Technopark project with the participation of Bashkortostan enterprises. Additionally, the discussion covered projects to establish a livestock farm in the Iglinsky District and to open a center for traditional medicine and apitherapy in Tashkent Region.

The parties also discussed Bashkortostan’s participation in the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia,” scheduled to take place in Uzbekistan in April 2026, noting that the event would expand business contacts and showcase the Republic’s potential to foreign partners.

The Hokim of Tashkent Region expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of the projects.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue preparing and updating the roadmaps across all areas of cooperation.
