Bangladeshi Minister of Commerce to attend Global textile days in Tashkent forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 September, at the invitation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Masud Mannan, a press conference was held for journalists of various media outlets.

During the meeting, Mr. Masud Mannan said that Minister of Trade of Bangladesh Tipu Munshi will visit Uzbekistan.

During the visit, Minister of Trade Tipu Munshi will discuss and share the development and economic prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh in various areas of the economy, tourism, the textile industry, food, pharmaceuticals, and will also study the possibilities of cooperation in the field of software.

It was also noted that Munshi will hold a bilateral meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and take part in the Uzbek textile conference.

The head of the diplomatic mission of Bangladesh confirmed the interest of the business community of his country in further expanding cooperation with Uzbek partners in such industries as textile, pharmaceutical, light industry and some others.
