Bakhtiyor Saidov Discusses Development of Interparliamentary Relations with Speaker of the UK House of Commons

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 February, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.

During the talks, the parties discussed strengthening interparliamentary dialogue, expanding regular exchanges between legislative bodies, and deepening parliamentary diplomacy between the countries of Central Asia and the United Kingdom.

Both sides emphasized the important role of parliaments in supporting ongoing reforms, promoting mutual understanding, and enhancing cooperation across a wide range of areas, including education, trade, and sustainable development.
