Bakhodir Nasimov’s Neftchi reaches third qualification round of UEFA Champions League

Uzbekistan international striker Bakhodir Nasimov and Neftchi Baku should win two matches to reach group stage of UEFA Champions League, the UFF said.
In the second round, Neftchi beat Georgian side Zestafoni in two legs. Neftchi clinched a 3-0 victory at home and played a 2-2 in an away match.
Bakhodir Nasimov did not play in both matches due to injury. However, he can play for Uzbekistan in friendly match against Jordan on 13 August.
Neftchi will face Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona of Israel in the third stage of the tournament. The matches will be held in Israel on 1 August and in Azerbaijan on 6 August.
