Bakhodir Kurbov Re-elected as President of the Uzbekistan Football Association

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 January, Tashkent hosted the reporting and electoral congress of the Uzbekistan Football Association.

By decision of the delegates, Colonel General Bakhodir Kurbov, Chairman of the State Security Service, was re-elected President of the UFA.

During the congress, the newly elected head of the association outlined key priorities for the upcoming term, including the fight against corruption in football and the creation of equal opportunities for the development of young talent.

In addition, the delegates re-elected Ravshan Ermatov as First Vice President of the association, while Odil Akhmedov once again assumed the position of Vice President. The congress reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening institutional sustainability and transparency in the operations of the country’s football association.
