Bahodir Maksitov Re-elected Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Sports Veterans Council

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The latest reporting and election conference of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent.

During the session, participants reviewed the organization’s achievements over the past period, heard a report on completed work, and outlined priority directions for its future development.

Representatives from the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Nuroniy Foundation, and members of the Sports Veterans Council attended the conference. Discussions focused on projects implemented over the past five years, regional activities, and measures aimed at social support and enhancing the role of sports veterans in public life.

As a result of the vote, the incumbent chairman, Bahodir Maksitov, was unanimously re-elected to lead the Council for a new term. Delegates highlighted his contribution to strengthening the organization’s activities, expanding regional cooperation, and consistently advocating for the interests of sports veterans.

In his speech, Maksitov expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and emphasized that his priorities for the coming period include improving the Council’s work, strengthening regional engagement, and further developing a comprehensive support system for sports veterans.
