Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Supervisory Board of Uzmetkombinat has appointed a new Acting Chairman of the Management Board — Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Bahodir Abdullaev has been named Acting Chairman of the Management Board — CEO of Uzmetkombinat, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported.

Abdullaev, an entrepreneur from Namangan, replaces Dilshod Akhmedov, who had led Uzmetkombinat since October 2024.

Earlier, Akhmedov served as First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board — Executive Director of the company, and in January 2024 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, where he was responsible, among other areas, for the development of Uzmetkombinat.
