Azimjon Khusanov Appointed as Head of Agency for Vocational Education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Azimjon Khusanov has been appointed as director of the Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan.

The ministry clarified that the corresponding decree was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Prior to this appointment, Khusanov served as deputy director of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Agency for Vocational Education was established on 25 October. Its main responsibilities include coordinating the activities of technical colleges, developing vocational education curricula, setting qualification levels and training durations, and creating criteria for evaluating graduates’ knowledge and standards for educational and methodological support.
