Azerbaijan to Become a Full Participant in the Consultative Meetings of Central Asian Heads of State — Mirziyoyev

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Speaking at the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that the leaders of the regional countries had made a principled decision to include the Republic of Azerbaijan in the meeting format as a full participant.

The head of state emphasized that this strategic decision fully aligns with the interests of the peoples, united by a shared centuries-long history, familial ties, and close spiritual and cultural connections.

According to Mirziyoyev, Azerbaijan’s participation opens new opportunities for deepening regional cooperation, expanding political dialogue, and strengthening trade, economic, and humanitarian partnerships.

He noted that this expansion of the format reflects the genuine demand of the countries in the region to enhance stability, solidarity, and interconnectedness, while contributing to the creation of a new space of trust and sustainable development across Central Asia.
