Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev said that peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have common roots, culture and single religion.

Diplomat said that handing over of Koran marks an important contribution to the interreligious dialogue between the countries. He recalled that chairman of the Supreme Mejlis of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan Vasif Talibov visited Imam Al Bukhari complex in July and got acquainted with the books of Koran, which presented to the Museum of the Complex by the leaders of various states.

Head of the Imam Al Bukhari Complex Ilkhom Ramazanov highly appreciated the initiative of Azerbaijan and thanked the chairman of the Supreme Mejlis of Nakhchevan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov for valuable gift to the museum. Ilkhom Ramazanov stated, the holy book from Azerbaijan will enter the permanent exposition of the Museum of Imam al-Bukhari Complex.
