Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 June 2021, an award ceremony for the exhibition of the Republican stage of the competition for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Tashabbus-2021" was held at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Tashkent.

This competition is held annually throughout the country in a wide format. The main goal of the competition:

- creation of a business environment that stimulates the rapid development of small business and private entrepreneurship in the regions, an increase in the share and importance of the private sector in the country's economy;

- creation of the necessary conditions for improving the qualifications and knowledge of entrepreneurs;

- dissemination of best practices in the field of entrepreneurship;

- assistance in advertising the products of entrepreneurs and their mutually beneficial cooperation;

- involving young people in entrepreneurial activities and encouraging young entrepreneurs who set an example to their peers.

This competition, which is traditionally held, this year was held in all districts and regions of the country under the motto "Taragiyot sari qadam" - "A step towards development."

The winners of the republican stage of the competition were awarded in the following 5 nominations:

- "Best Industrial Entrepreneur of the Year";

- "The best entrepreneur of the year in the service sector";

- "Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year";

- "Farmer of the Year";

- "Best Master of the Year".

At the same time, the winner in the nomination "The best woman entrepreneur" was determined among the participants.

It should be noted that for the first time in the history of the competition this year, in order to ensure the principles of transparency and fairness in determining the winners at all stages of the competition, it became possible to submit applications through the electronic platform.

In particular, this year 13,164 participants from districts applied for the competition, of which 970 people won vouchers to the regional stage of the competition. At the next regional stage, 69 participants won, who had the opportunity to take part in the Republican stage. 

For participation in the district (city) stage of the competition, 13 164 applications were received from enterprises. Hence,

- 2,933 applications in the field of industry;

- 3509 applications in the service sector;

- 2120 young entrepreneurs;

- From 2029 farms

- 2,573 craftsmen took part in the first stage of the competition.

At the opening of the exhibition of the republican stage of the competition, about 70 entrepreneurs and artisans, who won at the district and regional stages, presented their products to visitors.

It should be noted that the experience of well-known, advanced businessmen in our country was widely disseminated among the population, in particular, dialogues between young people and leading entrepreneurs were organized.

Another important news - today, like the winners of the 5 main directions of the competition, the winner in the nomination "Best Entrepreneur of the Year" among the participants of the republican stage also received a car as a presidential award.
