Avalanche Danger Announced in the Mountains of Tashkent and Namangan Regions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Avalanche danger has been announced in the mountainous areas of Tashkent and Namangan regions, the Uzbek Hydrometeorology Center (Uzhydromet) reported.

According to forecasts, precipitation and temperature fluctuations are expected in the mountains from December 10 to 12.

In Tashkent region, the warning applies to Bostanlyk, Akhangaran, and Parkent districts of the Chatkal mountain system, and in Namangan region — to Pap district.

Residents of mountainous areas, tourists, and drivers are advised to take precautions and avoid dangerous trips or walks in high-risk zones.
