ATTO Clarifies Card Charges Affecting Tashkent Metro Passengers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The joint-stock company Avtomatlashtirilgan transport to’lov tizimi operatori (ATTO) has issued a statement clarifying the situation following an increase in reports of money being deducted from passengers’ bank cards.
According to the company, payments made through the payment terminals installed in the lobby No. 1 of the “Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li” metro station in Tashkent between September 16 and 30 were not processed in time due to technical issues.
As a result, previously unprocessed transactions are now being charged to passengers’ cards.
ATTO emphasized that no duplicate or erroneous charges are being made — funds are being deducted solely for trips actually taken by passengers during the specified period.
