Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, the Working Group, headed by Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev, is studying the current state of production and processing enterprises, fields and wells in the field. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

At the Somontepa field of the Mubarek oil and gas production department, from the Somontepa gas pre-treatment unit No. 2 to the Somontepa compressor station No. 1, the installation of a 33-km gas pipeline with a diameter of Ø-1020 mm was completed and, using internal capabilities, the initial gas treatment installation No. 2 was completed and put into operation in a short time.

The Chairman of the Board and members of the Working Group took part in the opening ceremony, which took place on the eve of the commissioning of the primary gas treatment unit.

At the event, Mehriddin Abdullaev emphasized that the President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, pays special attention to the industry and personally sent his congratulations to everyone who took part in this construction. As a result of the construction work, an additional production of 1.0 million cubic meters of natural gas and 2 tons of gas condensate per day was achieved, it was noted that the work done as soon as possible would help to ensure a stable supply of fuel and energy products to the sectors of the economy and the population of the Republic , uninterrupted operation of production in the oil and gas industry, unconditional fulfillment of basic forecast indicators for 2020.

On 4 April 2020, in accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Management Board, the construction and installation of the Somontepa gas pre-treatment unit No. 2 and a length of 33 km were started. Diameter 1020 mm. and completed in a short time, i.e. on 6 June 2020.

Construction and installation works, equipment and apparatus necessary for the device were selected and delivered to the construction site using the internal capacities of the oil and gas production departments of Uzbekneftegaz.
