At least 4000 people to be trained abroad
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At least 4000 people will be trained abroad in training, advanced training and internship programs for the staff of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation in 2019-2021.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further improve the organization of personnel training under the programs of the E-Yurt Umidi Foundation for training of specialists abroad and dialogue with compatriots under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The head of Uzbekistan approved a program of measures to improve the activities of the E-Yurt Umidi Foundation for training specialists abroad and dialogue with compatriots under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Competitive selection of candidates for training, advanced training and internships of personnel abroad at the expense of the fund is carried out on the basis of targeted orders of ministries and departments in the areas of education, science and research, health and public administration.
In 2019-2021, it is expected that at least 4,000 people will be trained abroad. At the same time, 20% of the total number of places will be allocated for scholarships of the foundation for training in master and doctoral studies.
The Board of Trustees of the Foundation may declare additional competitive selections in the areas of scholarships of the Foundation and make decisions on the allocation of scholarships to the citizens of Uzbekistan, who independently enroll in the master or doctoral studies of foreign educational institutions and research centers in the top 500 in the world or in the top 200 in the world in their chosen subject institutions in the ranking of internationally recognized organizations.
The Fund for Reconstruction and Development will allocate funds in the amount of US$3 million in 2019 to finance the training, advanced training and internships of staff abroad under the programs of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation.
