Association Uztextileprom hosts meeting with Turkish envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ahmed Basar Sen, held a meeting at the Association "Uztextileprom" in connection with the completion of his mission in Uzbekistan.

The parties noted the fruitful cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey in trade, economic, investment and scientific fields. A high assessment was made of the Ambassador’s activities in enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Uzbek and Turkish business circles in the textile industry, the press service of Uztextileprom said.

In particular, with the personal participation of Mr. Sen, the Uzbek-Turkish Business Forum was organized (May 2018), active participation in the work of the International Textile Conference of Uzbekistan (September 2018) was taken, assistance was provided in establishing cooperation with textile companies and etc.

In turn, noting the high level of cooperation between the countries, the Ambassador expressed readiness, within his competence, in the future to fully support development of trade and economic relations with textile companies in Turkey.

Taking into account the great contribution to the development of the textile industry of Uzbekistan, the Association presented a diploma to Ambassador Sen for the full support of the textile industry.
