Applications for bio passport received in online mode in Almazar district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A pilot project on online submission of applications to receive biometric passports of the citizen of Uzbekistan has been launched in Almazar district of Tashkent city, the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The applications are received via the Single portal of interactive state service (my.gov.uz). The service was launched in cooperation with the State Committee for Communication, Information and Telecommunication Technologies of Uzbekistan.

The applicant, who is registered in Almazar district of Tashkent city, can fill the form of application in electronic form via the Single portal.

The Interior Division of Almazar district of Tashkent city will process the application and will appoint date for collection of biometric data. The SMS-message with the date and time will be send to the applicant.

Once new biometric passport is ready, the applicant will receive a corresponding SMS-notification, the ministry said.
