Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan is continuing to study the feasibility of introducing a commission for the online deposit service levied by commercial banks on the part of the United Republican Processing Center LLC. This was reported by the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee.
Based on the Regulation on the procedure for determining monopolistically high and monopolistically low prices for goods (work, services) sold on the goods market, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 30 March 2018 No. 249, the Committee requested the relevant calculation materials and justifications for establishing a commission for online deposit service charged by commercial banks.
At the same time, to date, the information requested by the Committee by the Single Republican Processing Center LLC has not been fully submitted, which delays the consideration of this issue.
At the same time, the Committee informs that in case of failure to provide relevant information on the part of the United Republican Processing Center LLC, in accordance with article 27 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Competition, officials of economic entities may be held administratively liable.
