Antimonopoly committee reviews formalin prices

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Uzdaily.com) -- In accordance with the appeal of entrepreneurs, Antimonopoly committee conducted a study of the market for the production and sale of formalin used as a raw material in the production of building materials.

According to the results of the study, it was established that the production of this product is handled by Navoiazot.

Considering that the enterprise is the only producer, it is included in the State Register of economic entities holding a dominant position in the commodity or financial market.

The committee studied the cost of formalin for the application of monopolistically high prices, the results of which ensured a reduction in prices by 20 percent.
