Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 October 2019, at the Uchtepa field, as a result of drilling well No. 12, an industrial influx of natural gas was obtained with a preliminary flow rate of 150-200 thousand cubic meters per day, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly reports JSC "Uzbekneftegaz".

The Uchtepa field is located in Bulakbashi district of Andijan region. Earlier, industrial gas inflows with a flow rate of up to 385 thousand cubic meters have already been received here. m / day from seven wells.

Another result was achieved as a result of drilling well No. 12 in Cretaceous deposits. This time, the industrial inflow of natural gas was obtained in the intervals of 1087-1080 m (XIX layer) and 1063-1054 m (XVIII layer).

In the next 3 days, gas condensate studies will be conducted at the well to study the parameters of the promising formation.

Drilling operations at the Uchtepa field are carried out in order to implement measures to provide the population of the Ferghana region with natural gas, as well as in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Approving the Program for Increasing Hydrocarbon Production for 2017-2021” (dated March 9, 2017 No. PP-2822).
