Another Open Dialogue with Entrepreneurs Held
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with various ministries and agencies, conducted more than 30 open dialogue meetings focused on sector-specific issues.
During these sessions, over 600 systemic problems faced by entrepreneurs were identified, and corresponding proposals for their resolution were prepared.
The latest meeting with the business community took place on 17 December and focused on pressing issues in urban development, cashless payments, and the energy sector.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Davron Vakhabov; Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, Sherzod Khidoyatov; Chairman of the National Committee for Sustainable Urban Development and Housing Market, Sherzod Kudbiyev; Deputy Minister of Energy, Umid Mamadaminov; as well as heads and representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Central Bank, and the Customs and Tax Committees.
During the meeting, participants were provided with detailed explanations of the content and practical implications of Presidential Decree No. PF–246 of 10 December 2025, “On Additional Measures to Promote Cashless Payments and Reduce the Shadow Economy.”
Special attention was given to open and constructive discussion of key challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Issues addressed included bureaucratic barriers in the construction sector, project implementation delays, application of standard electricity supply contracts, and problems related to connecting to power networks.
Business representatives shared their proposals and comments, and as a result of the discussions, specific practical measures were identified to address the problems raised.
The meeting was broadcast live, allowing a wide range of entrepreneurs to participate in the discussion online.
The open dialogue served as an effective platform for interaction between the business community and government authorities, facilitating prompt and targeted solutions to issues encountered in the course of doing business.
