Another 20 patients recovered from COVID-19 completely in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In recent years, special attention has been paid to the development of health care not only in the capital, but also in all regions of the country. The efforts to build and repair new medical facilities, bring specialized medical services closer to people, train qualified personnel and introduce modern medical technologies are bearing fruit today.

At a time when the situation with the coronavirus pandemic is especially acute, the fact that in almost all regions of the country qualified doctors provide high-quality medical care to patients with this infection is also the result of reforms in this area.

In particular, today another 20 patients from the Bukhara Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital have fully recovered. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were carried out for rehabilitation.

All the survivors arrived in Bukhara from Turkey on a charter flight and were quarantined in the Sitorai Mohi Khosa sanatorium. After confirmation of the coronavirus infection, they were hospitalized in the regional infectious diseases hospital. Among the patients, 10 men and the same number of women. 11 of them are from the capital, 4 from the Samarkand region, 2 from the Jizzakh region and one from Kashkadarya, Navoi and Tashkent regions. The oldest of them is 57 years old, and the youngest is 21 years old.

Undoubtedly, effective medical procedures performed by the medical staff of this hospital played an important role in the recovery of patients. Until that time, 8 patients were discharged from the regional infectious diseases hospital and sent for rehabilitation, and now the number of people who have recovered is 28 people.

In these difficult days, we see an example of true dedication on the example of the working people in our country today, thousands of doctors. The effectiveness of these efforts is reflected in the extent of patient recovery. Today, it is expected that in a number of other hospitals, too, recovered patients will be sent for rehabilitation.

To date, 127 people have been cured of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan.
