Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– Seventeen patients with coronavirus infection recovered at the clinic of the Research Institute of Virology in Tashkent. With the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health, they were carried out to the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation.

All recovered patients are from the city of Tashkent. 16 of them became infected as a result of contact with patients with coronavirus. One of them came to the city of Tashkent from England. Of the patients, 4 are men and 13 are women.

Among them, the oldest is 69 years old, the youngest is born in 2020 (he was discharged and sent for rehabilitation with his mother). After effective treatment, recent studies have shown that they have fully recovered.

“The solidarity, skills and experience of our clinic employees play a decisive role in the recovery of our patients,” says Muhayo Asilova, chief physician of the clinic at the Research Institute of Virology. - Our medical institution has created all the conditions for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection in accordance with international standards. As a result of the efforts today, another 17 patients are completely cured. I am sure that these figures will grow day by day due to the efforts of our qualified doctors.

Currently, 424 patients have been treated for coronavirus infection nationwide.
