Andijan to Phase Out Cash Payments for Bus Fares Starting from 1 January

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 1 January 2026, cash payments for bus rides will no longer be accepted in Andijan, the Ministry of Transport announced.

Passengers using electronic payment methods will pay a fare of 2,100 soums.

For cash payments, a single-use QR ticket costing 3,000 soums can be purchased at bus stops or nearby info kiosks.

Citizens are encouraged to use electronic payment options, including bank cards, mobile applications, and ATTO transport or virtual cards.
