Andijan region’s economy grows by 11.5% in 2010

The growth of gross regional product of Andijan region of Uzbekistan made up 11.5% in 2010, the session of regional MPs said.
The region also posted 19.4% growth of industrial output, 13.5% - construction works, 18.1% - agriculture output, 17.7% - retail trade turnover and 13.3% - paid services.
Twenty-two enterprises of the region, which were included to localization programme, produced over 37.9 billion soums in the reporting period.
