Andijan Attracts Chinese Investment for High-Quality Carpet Production

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of Andijan Region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with a Chinese investor to discuss the establishment of carpet production in the region.

The Chinese side expressed its intention to build a factory for the manufacture of high-quality carpets using modern technologies, focusing on products with strong demand both in domestic and international markets.

The Hokim emphasized that Andijan offers all necessary conditions for foreign and local investors, including well-developed infrastructure and support from regional authorities.

The implementation of this project will create new jobs, enhance the capacity of local production, and expand the range of export-oriented products, contributing to the further economic development of the region.
