An Uzbek–Chinese trade and economic forum held in Tianjin

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 November, the Uzbek–Chinese Trade and Economic Forum took place in the city of Tianjin. The event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China together with the representative office of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade (MIIT) in the PRC.

More than 400 representatives of government bodies, business circles, and entrepreneurial associations from both countries participated in the forum.

Participants were provided with detailed information on the practical aspects of Uzbekistan’s investment attractiveness, including its favorable business environment, investor support measures and incentives, as well as opportunities for cooperation in key sectors of the economy.

A national “Made in Uzbekistan” stand was presented at the event, showcasing export-oriented products of domestic manufacturers, the country’s production capabilities, and its tourism potential.

The forum concluded with G2B meetings with Chinese investors, where project proposals were presented in the fields of energy, infrastructure, chemical industry, textile production, agriculture, building materials, and logistics.
