Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 June 2020, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, took part in an online conference on the issues of Afghan settlement.

Special consultants from Qatar, Germany, Norway, Indonesia and the United States also attended the consultation.

During the event, international efforts to resolve the Afghan crisis, as well as the speedy launch of peaceful inter-Afghan negotiations, were discussed.

A thorough exchange of views took place on priority directions for rendering all-round assistance to Afghanistan, especially in the context of a pandemic.
