An earthquake shakes in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 October 2018, at 18:25 an earthquake with the epicenter in Tajikistan was registered in Uzbekistan.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the magnitude at the epicenter was 5.1.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a distance of 355 km in the south-east direction from Tashkent.

The strength of tremors in Tashkent was 2 points, Namangan –2 points, Andijan - 2 points, Fergana - 2 points, Gulistan –2 points, Jizzakh - 2 points, Samarkand - 2 points and in Termez –2 points.
