Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – In accordance with the President’s resolution “On measures to improve the quality of education and the development of scientific research in the field of mathematics,” til 1 January 2021, the National Certification System for assessing the level of knowledge in mathematics will be introduced.

Within the framework of the National Certification System:

- assessment of the level of knowledge in mathematics and the issuance in accordance with it of a national qualification certificate will be carried out in the prescribed manner by the State Testing Center;

- assessment of the level of knowledge in mathematics will be carried out in a differentiated manner;

- an applicant who has received a national certificate of the level that provides the exemption, upon admission to the HEU is exempted from passing test tests in mathematics with the award of a maximum score for this subject;

- starting from 1 September 2021, teachers of mathematics at specialized schools must have a certificate of the appropriate level;

- mathematics teachers who have a national certificate of the appropriate level (with the exception of mathematics teachers at Specialized Schools), depending on the location of the state educational institution in which they operate, a monthly allowance of 25 to 50 percent of their base tariff rate is paid.
