An agro-industrial cluster is being created in Syrdarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution was approved on measures to create an agro-industrial cluster in Syrdarya region.

The resolution said that an agro-industrial cluster will be created, envisaging for the creation of a cycle of growing and processing crops containing cellulose, and other crops involved in crop rotation in Syrdarya region with attracting foreign direct investment.

A cluster RS Success Agro LLC will be established in the region.

The main tasks of the cluster are the introduction of advanced scientific achievements, modern and effective methods of growing cellulose-containing crops and other crops, advanced agricultural and water-saving technologies, effective methods and technologies for processing technical hemp and flax fiber, and seeds with the attraction of foreign direct investment.

The resolution also approved the forecast parameters of investment projects implemented by Industrial Innovation Group LLC (United Arab Emirates) and RS Success Agro LLC in 2019-2023.
