Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of India on exempting holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements, signed on 1 October 2018 in New Delhi, entered into force on 4 April 2019.
The document grants holders of diplomatic passports - citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of India the right to enter, leave and stay in the territories of the states of the parties without a visa for up to 60 days, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said in a statement.
The agreement will facilitate the operational resolution of organizational issues during the mutual visits of official representatives - holders of diplomatic passports of the two countries.
