Aminova Wins Gold at Judo Grand Slam Tournament in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The prestigious Judo Grand Slam tournament kicked off at the Humo Arena in Tashkent, featuring around 400 athletes from all continents.

In the women’s under-57 kg category, Shukurjon Aminova claimed the gold medal, defeating Japan’s Mio Shirakane. This victory marks Aminova’s first Grand Slam title, representing a significant milestone in her international career.

On the men’s side, Doston Ruziev earned the bronze medal in the under-60 kg category. In the third-place match, he defeated Georgia’s Luka Gadeliya, securing a podium finish at the tournament.
