Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

In accordance with the Law, in connection with the improvement of the activities of some state bodies, amendments and additions were made to about 20 legislative acts.

In particular, according to the amendments to the Law "On the Prosecutor’s Office", based on the specifics of the activities of employees of the prosecutor’s office, employees with more than 20 years of work experience will be given 15 days of additional leave.

Along with this, now employees of the prosecutor’s office are allowed to engage in scientific, pedagogical and creative activities (previously they could be engaged in scientific, teaching and creative activities only in their free time from the main work).

In addition, the Tax Code introduced a norm on exemption from payment of state duty upon application (complaint) of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurships in an Administrative Court, in the interests of entrepreneurs.

This Law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
