Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On Amending and Adding to Some Legislative Acts”.

According to the Law, in connection with the improvement of the budget process, amendments have been made to a number of legislative acts.

In particular, the regulations of the Legislative Chamber and Senate of the Oliy Majlis include a separate section on the adoption of the law on the state budget of Uzbekistan for next year.

Also, the Budget Code is supplemented by such concepts as a distributor of budget funds of the first and second levels, a general fiscal balance, a distributor of funds of the territorial budget.

Articles concerning the procedure for amending budget expenditures are excluded from the Code.

In addition, the article on the adoption of the State Budget was excluded from the Law “On Parliamentary Control”.

This Law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
