Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents his credentials to the President of Greece

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 July 2022, the ceremony of presenting credentials by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Hellenic Republic (with residence in Rome) Otabek Akbarov to the President of Greece Katerina Sakellaropoulou was held in Athens.

As part of the event, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan had a brief conversation with the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, who congratulated her on her appointment and expressed her hope that this would contribute to the intensification and further development of relations with Uzbekistan.

Topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres were discussed.

Special attention was paid to the prospects for establishing sister city relations between the cities of Uzbekistan and Greece.
