Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Tel Aviv meets with President of Manufacturers Association of Israel
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 August 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Tel Aviv, Said Rustamov, met with the president of the Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI), Shraga Brosh.
MAI today is the country’s largest association of more than 1,500 Israeli enterprises and companies from various sectors and sectors of the economy, which together represent about 95% of all industrial products produced in Israel, as well as 80% of the workforce employed in industry. MAI is also an umbrella organization for a number of industry associations of the country, represents the Israeli business community in a number of international structures, and participates in the formation of Israeli trade and investment policies, including with foreign countries.
During the negotiations, issues of expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Israel in the fields of trade, industrial cooperation and investment were discussed.
Practical steps have been outlined for establishing MAI ties with partner organizations in Uzbekistan, organizing mutual visits, conducting presentation events for Israeli business circles on the site of the Association on large-scale socio-economic transformations in the country, and opening up wide opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
