Ambassador of Uzbekistan addresses fellow citizens on the territory of the Republic of Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 March 2020, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vitaly Fen addressed all our citizens who temporarily or permanently reside in the Republic of Korea.

“I know that our compatriots are concerned about the spread of coronavirus, which causes certain problems in South Korea today,” the statement says, posted on all the Internet resources of the Embassy. - The Government of the Republic of Korea makes every possible effort to identify infected patients as soon as possible and their further treatment using modern medical technologies and advanced methods of combating coronavirus.

Currently, the number of patients is growing, but the Government and medical experts of the Republic of Korea are confident that in the near future the spread of the virus will be steadily reduced, and the risk of disease will be significantly reduced.

In this situation, I urge the citizens of Uzbekistan not to panic and remain calm. At the same time, I urge you not to attend events or places with a large crowd of people, and also strictly adhere to the recommended precautions to combat this virus.

It should be noted that today economic cooperation and friendly relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea are developing more rapidly than ever. As a result of close cooperation, our citizens have the opportunity to receive education and work in South Korea in favorable conditions.

Although the risk of contracting a life-threatening coronavirus remains in the Republic of Korea, I urge you fellow citizens to remain calm and to abide by all of the above recommendations.

Dear compatriots, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea works around the clock to quickly and effectively respond to problems caused by coronavirus. In this regard, I want to assure you that you can contact us at any convenient time. "
