Alla Kudryavtseva of Russia outplayed Maryna Zanevska of Ukraine in three sets with the score 6:4, 2:6 and 6:3.

Serbia’s Bojana Jovanovski defeated Kateryna Bondarenko of Ukraine in three sets with the score 1:6, 6:4 and 6:1.

Urzula Radwanska of Poland also advanced to the second round of the tournament, defeating Vesna Dolonc of Serbia in straight sets 6:2 and 6:2.

Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus beat Olivia Rogowska of Australia with the score 3:6, 6:4 and 6:4.

Ukraine’s Lyudmyla Kichenok advanced to next round, outplaying Danka Kovinic of Montenegro with the score 7:6 (5) and 7:6 (2).
