Almost 95% of Uzbekistan’s Population Uses the Internet — Data for January–August 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to a sample household survey conducted by the National Committee of Statistics, as of January–August 2025, the share of Uzbekistan’s population using the internet reached 94.2 percent.

Yearly statistics show steady growth in internet coverage: in 2021 the figure stood at 76.6 percent, in 2022 it rose to 83.9 percent, in 2023 it reached 89 percent, in 2024 it climbed to 93.3 percent, and in the first eight months of 2025 it increased further to 94.2 percent.

The survey results highlight the country’s ongoing digitalization and the broad accessibility of internet services to the population.
