Alisher Kadyrov Criticizes Solovyov’s Remarks on Russia’s “Sphere of Influence” in Central Asia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Alisher Kadyrov, leader of the Milliy Tiklanish Party, commented on Russian television host Vladimir Solovyov’s statement regarding the so-called “sphere of influence” of Russia, which referenced Armenia and the countries of Central Asia.
According to Kadyrov, provocative statements about potential military actions in the region should be met with calm and measured consideration. He emphasized that pursuing pragmatic and mutually beneficial foreign policy, along with cooperation with all friendly states based on international law, remains a fundamental principle of Uzbekistan’s state policy.
“Persistent statements in Russian media not only contradict the spirit of strategic partnership and allied relations but also have a destabilizing effect on them,” the politician noted. He added that Central Asia is a region of security, stability, and good-neighborly relations—a space for rapid development and cooperation where fraternal states are capable of giving a decisive response to any aggression.
“Solovyov’s fruitless remarks only underscore his helplessness and ineffectiveness,” Kadyrov concluded.
