Alimony Payers Will Be Allowed to Travel Abroad if They Hold an Insurance Policy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice has registered amendments to the “Regulation on the Interaction of Authorized State Bodies on the Temporary Restriction of Foreign Travel for Debtors — Individuals Who Fail to Fulfill Enforcement Documents Issued Under Court Decisions Without Valid Reasons” (registration No. 3196-2, dated 26 November 2025).
Under the new rules, individuals required to pay alimony may temporarily suspend the travel ban imposed by a state enforcement officer if they submit an application and provide an insurance policy.
This type of insurance may only be issued by companies holding an appropriate license. The presence of a valid policy will be verified automatically through the information system of the National Agency for Advanced Projects, with the participation of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement.
