Akmal Kamalov appointed as Uzpakhtasanoatexport’s chairperson
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Akmal Kamalov has been appointed as the chairperson of the board of holding company Uzpakhtasanoatexport, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
Prior to appointment Akmal Kamalov worked as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia.
He was appointed to the post of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia in October 2014. Earlier, he worked as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan.
Holding company Uzpakhtasanoatexport was created on 27 October 2015 in line with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. Uzpakhtasanoatexport will accept, process and export cotton-fibre.
