Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a coronavirus pandemic, no one can stand aside. Because for COVID-19 there are no boundaries, age restrictions, differences in the origin and kind of activity, the amount of earnings. In this difficult situation, everyone can contribute to the common cause, help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Institutions of civil society, initiative groups, caring people, who do not want to sit on the side play a key role, are actively involved in informing the population. Not so long ago, the Yuksalish National Movement called on volunteers and NGOs to help those in need during the quarantine period.

A couple of days later, a group of activists came up with the initiative to launch a Telegram bot and a channel to provide free psychological assistance to citizens in crisis situations. Among the initiators - the Center for Support and Development of Initiatives "NIHOL", the team of the Partnership for Innovation program in Uzbekistan, a group of psychologists and volunteers. We support this good undertaking and will try to mobilize all available resources and attract partners.

It is worth noting the desire of professional psychologists in this difficult time for Uzbekistan to unite and organize remote counseling of residents of the republic on a volunteer basis. Among them are school psychologists, psychoanalysts, certified psychologists who have the practice of psycho-counseling, university teachers, researchers, valeologists, valeecologists. There are already almost 80 of them - a large team that is still replenished.

In the future, we plan to involve specialists from the internal affairs bodies in the work for those urgent cases when their assistance will be vital for resolving issues that affect the fate of a person.

The intention to provide first psychological assistance to people in need deserves great respect! Thank you for your responsiveness, willingness to sacrifice your time and energy to help people! I wish you health, patience, strength and good luck. I urge everyone to become part of our team of volunteer psychologists.
